Our pantry is run entirely by volunteers; there is no paid staff. All funds contributed go to the purchase of food and other pantry items for distribution to needy families. Hudson Community Food Pantry is an exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Interested in Volunteering?
Volunteers are always needed to help keep the pantry running. From food distribution, organization, office work, etc.. there are lots of ways you can help.

Our volunteers help with the following areas:
Drivers - to pick up weekly and monthly scheduled food orders from designated locations.
Receivers- to take in Food items, sort, record and stock (Tue-Wed 7:30-9 am)
Weekly distribution - check-in clients, fill orders, bring order to vehicle (Wed 7:30-10 am, Thurs 5:30-7:30 pm)
Holiday distribution- Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter distributions involve preparation of Holiday food boxes & holiday gifts (Christmas & Easter) and distribution of holiday food boxes, generally the Saturday prior to the holiday.
